Side effects are rare, but may include minor bruising or swelling. After treatments these symptoms subside within 24 to 48 hours. The treatments themselves are relatively pain-free as we will apply a prescription numbing cream to the area prior to the treatment. You may feel pressure during the treatment, but rarely will you experience pain.

The Juvéderm™ ULTRA formula tends to be somewhat more pliable and effective in areas of muscle movement. On the other hand Juvéderm™ ULTRA PLUS tends to deteriorate at a slower rate.
