The Revage hair regrowth system is now available to Scottsdale Adam and Eve Medical Aesthetics patients. Revage is a pain free, high technology laser system, for men and women with shedding and thinning hair.

How does it work?

Before even receiving treatment, Revage will map your scalp and determine if there are healthy hair follicles that will react to the laser system. Revage works using Rotational Photo Therapy, made up of 30 laser diodes that rotate 180 degrees around the scalp. As they rotate, the laser energy comes into contact with hair follicles, stimulating growth. Previous iterations of this technology have used handheld lasers, which were less effective at making contact with the follicle to stimulate growth. Patients sit in a comfortable chair, beneath the Revåge laser system during the treatment.

How many treatments will I need?

Treatments may be administered twice a week and are proven most effective with thinning areas of hair, as it thickens thinning regions and is known to stimulate the return of pigmentation. Once the Revage system is effectively established with a patient, periodic treatment sessions may be necessary to sustain growth. Treatments are 30 minutes. Treatments will continue for three months to one year.

Who are the ideal candidates?

Men and women can both benefit from Revåge. However, Revåge and its RPT technology works best on thinning regions of the scalp instead of bald areas, so women with female pattern baldness or chemo-induced hair loss tend to be the most suitable patients. The RPT laser light thickens fine, miniaturized hair. Revåge penetrates to the hair follicles and distributes a uniform field of energy in these areas.

What are the results?

Only available under the supervision of a physician, Revåge is clinically proven to rejuvenate hair growth in more than 85 percent of people who undergo the treatments. Results are apparent within two to four months of initiating care. Thickness can be improved by nearly 40 percent.
